Fabcoat Australia's team of expert rubber liners were contracted March- April 2018 to carry out Inspection and repairs to BHP's Concentrate Leach Tank, this is in accordance with their strategic maintenance plan for tanks on site.

On inspection of the lining it was found that the rubber would not meet BHP's strict specification for rubber lining there for it would require a full reline, Fabcoat stripped the existing rubber, abrasive blasted, and relined the acid tank in Chemoline 4/CN 6mm.

The rubber preparation and lining process took a total of 10 days to line 270m² then returning the vessel back to service on time, on budget and with zero incidents.
