December 2015 Fabcoat Australia were engaged by a Winery in the Barossa Valley to coat a number of grape crusher bins and sump areas with Food Grade epoxy, these areas were abrasive blasted back to the sub straight, the pit area's had to be completely rendered prior to coating to prevent mould build up and moisture entrapment, and then three coats of 100% volume solids epoxy was applied. Fabcoat Australia completed this whole project 100% in house with its own equipment.

In the wine industry it is important of the quality of the coating for food grade requirements, we also ensure that we prolong these high wear areas so the wineries get the best possible value of the coating.
